Megastädte wie Shenzhen und Guanzhou oder auch die Casino-Stadt Macau schließen sich an, so dass die ganze Metropolregion auf über 40 Millionen Menschen kommt. Und genau dort fegt gerade Taifun MANGKHUT durch, verbreitet werden aktuell Windböen zwischen 130 und 180 km/h gemessen, mehr als 200 l/m² Regen sind in wenigen Stunden schon gefallen.
